Born in Sweden & raised across Southeast Asia, Chef Richard McCormick grew up surrounded by the colors, flavors & scents of global food culture. His journey has taken him from the spice-filled markets of Asia to the creative kitchens of Scandinavia, where he became one of Helsinki’s most celebrated restauranters. He was the the flower that bloomed behind beloved concepts such as The Cock, Holiday, Yes Yes Yes, Madonna & Shanghai Cowboy.
Now rooted in Marrakech, Richard brings his lifelong passion for flavor & fire to Flowers. Inspired by North-African and Mediterranean flavors, he crafts menus where fresh local harvests of Morocco combine with taste & techniques from around the world.
For Richard, cooking is storytelling & a way to gather people around the table to connect.
